Advanced CSI: Shooting Scenes
In this 6-hour webinar, students will learn how to document and process crime scenes when firearms evidence and bullet damage is present. Students will learn how to evaluate firearm related evidence in the field to provide timely information to investigators, how to place and photograph trajectory rods, how to use lasers to assist in trajectory photography (in bright and dark scenes), and how to prepare for major crime scenes, including those involving mass shootings.

Course Outline & Schedule
- 8:00 to 9:30: Road mapping bullet damage
- 9:30 to 10:30: Trajectory rod and laser photography
- 10:30 to 12:00: On-scene evaluation of firearms evidence
- 12:00 to 1:00: Lunch break
- 1:00 to 2:00: Practical Exercise: on-scene evaluation of firearms evidence
- 2:00 to 2:30: Preparing for response to mass shooting crime scenes
- 2:30 to 3:00: Final Examination and Course Evaluation
