Meeting the "CSI Effect" Head On: Crime Scene Diagrams, 360 Degree Panoramas, and Virtual Tours

Crime Scene Investigators are called upon to thoroughly document the scenes that they investigate.  This documentation routinely requires the graphical aspect of the scene to be recorded, including photography and sketching.  This webinar will discuss various budget-conscious apps and software suites that can assist the investigator  to accomplish these tasks.

Students attending should bring their smartphones, tablets, and laptops preloaded with the referenced apps and software to receive hands-on instruction and experience with crime scene diagramming (MagicPlan and RoomScan apps), 360 degree imaging (Madventure 360 app and PTGui trial software), and virtual tour solutions (Pano2VR and Cupix trial software) that will allow you to efficiently create dynamic demonstrative exhibits for investigative, prosecutorial, tactical, and training purposes.

Please note that if trial software is to be used for this webinar, it should NOT be downloaded until one or two days prior to the training.

Certification
This course has been submitted to the IAI Certification Boards for approval.  Please see our IAI Certifications page for more information.
