Forensic Professional Skills
Forensic practitioners often have many other duties besides simply conducting the work they are assigned based on their job titles. From writing SOPs, to keeping stats, to training new personnel, we are frequently tasked to complete other assignments and are not necessarily provided training on how we are supposed to complete them. As a result, these assignments are often completed through simple trial and error and many of these extra assignments end up taking much longer to complete than is necessary. In this Forensic Professional Skills webinar, we will focus on honing a few of the key professional skills that will benefit any Forensic practitioner to know.
In this 8 hour Forensic Professional Skills webinar, we will cover the following:

In this 8 hour Forensic Professional Skills webinar, we will cover the following:
- Writing SOPs (1 hour) – Learn the basics of writing SOPs and gain an understanding of what SOPs your unit needs.
- Building a Training Program (1 hour) – Learn the steps of building an effective training program.
- Scheduling (1.5 hours) – Learn how to think outside of the box with your scheduling to maximize productivity and personnel coverage.
- Statistics & Logs (1 hour) – Learn how to create and maintain a basic stat sheet. Learn what stats your unit should be tracking and how you can utilize those stats to track productivity and justify additional resources like new equipment or extra personnel.
- Interviews (1 hour) – Learn how to conduct effective interviews so you are growing your team in the best way possible.
- Evaluations (1.5 hours) – Learn how to conduct effective evaluations so personnel are receiving valuable feedback in a timely manner that will facilitate growth.
