About Brett Doretti
Brett Doretti is a Lead Forensic Specialist with the Orange County Sheriff's Department/OC Crime Lab in Orange County California. He was a professional photographer for twelve years before joining the Sheriff's Identification Bureau in 1998.
Brett specializes in crime scene investigation, photography, and is a member of the clandestine laboratory task force. He is a primary trainer with the OC Crime Lab and he is also an instructor for California State University Long Beach Center for Criminal Justice, teaching classes in Crime Scene Investigation and Forensic Photography.
Brett is an IAI Certified Forensic Photographer and currently serves on the Science and Practices Sub-committee on Forensic Photography and Electronic Digital Imaging for the IAI.
