A Word From Our Director
TRITECHFORENSICS is thrilled to announce our partnership with The International Association for Identification (IAI). The Association officially announced Tri-Tech Forensics, Inc. as its Exclusive Training Partner, effective October 1st, 2015, during its annual IAI Centennial Conference. The IAI’s Training Partnership began in 2004 as a way for the organization to ensure that high quality training would be available for its members and to generate additional funding to support the growth of the Association’s operations.
When compared to other forensic firms, TRITECHFORENSICS might appear as a newcomer on the surface. In reality, our company has been in business for over 30 years. Originally the premier supplier of evidence collection kits, our business has expanded its inventory to include a broad range of crime scene investigations products over the past decade. The expansion of TRITECHFORENSICS brought forth the opportunity to create a training division. In 2013, I joined the company as the new Training Director and the Tri-Tech Forensics Training Division was born. TRITECHFORENSICS Training courses are available in various subjects such as: fingerprint identification, crime scene investigations, forensic photography, bloodstain pattern analysis, forensic anthropology, and footwear and tire track identification. Tri-Tech also supports the IAI certification process by offering preparatory courses for the Crime Scene, Forensic Photography, and Latent Print Certification exams. Our company plans to expand these offerings to include forensic art, forensic video analysis, and digital evidence. We also offer custom designed courses to meet an agency’s specific needs. TRITECHFORENSICS is located in Leland, NC, with the Training Division headquarters located in Tennessee. Training programs, however, are available to be hosted anywhere in United States. We have presented training in destination cities around the country and offer generous support for agencies interested in hosting. Local training can save an agency thousands of dollars, promote networking in an agency’s area, and provide economic support to the IAI. Please explore the different pages of our website to discover information on Upcoming Courses, Course Descriptions, and Tri-Tech Training Instructors. If your agency is interested in Becoming a Host Agency or you have any questions about our workshops, please contact me at [email protected]. TRITECHFORENSICS Training is honored to be the Exclusive Training Partner of the IAI and looks forward to continuing to support IAI members with exceptional forensic education. Sincerely, Phil Sanfilippo, Director TRITECHFORENSICS Training |
