Your Questions Answered
What is the economic benefit of hosting a course?
Agencies that host our courses receive one free registration per ten paying students attending the course.
What are the first steps in hosting a course?
First, review the Course Catalog page to get a general idea of course subjects we normally offer. Next, contact Phil Sanfilippo to schedule one of our core courses or to discuss the options for hosting a custom designed course. We will be glad to discuss your training needs as well as the details on location requirements for the course(s) you have selected.
What type of location is needed?
The needs of any course location will depend on the course itself. Some courses require an area for outdoor activities, access to a firearms range, or access to a forensic laboratory. Other courses may merely require indoor access to a classroom with audio visual equipment and desks. If the classroom cannot be locked, secure storage for equipment and supplies must be provided. Please contact Phil Sanfilippo for detailed info about the location needs for a specific course.
What if I want to host a course to be attended by only members of my agency?
We can provide your agency with a price quote for a course that is reserved for members of your agency or that is restricted to those individuals you invite. Please contact Phil Sanfilippo for more details.
Will I be in charge of student registration for the course?
No. Registration and billing of tuition for course attendance is handled by TRITECHFORENSICS Training.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
We strive to accommodate all students who wish to attend our courses, but enrollment is limited. Therefore, we request that individuals registered for our courses who wish to cancel their attendance do so at least ten business days prior to the beginning of the course. No-shows will be invoiced and in cases where the no-show’s tuition has been paid, it shall not be refunded. Substitutions are welcome at any time prior to the beginning of the course. It is requested that cancellations be emailed to Phil Sanfilippo. Cancellations made less than ten business days prior to the beginning of the course will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee. This fee may be waived in cases of bona fide emergencies.
In the event TFT must cancel a course, enrolled students or their agency representatives will be notified at least ten business days prior to the beginning of the course. We will attempt to make more advanced notification to students enrolled from outside the local area of the course.
