TRITECHFORENSICS Training wants you to have the best forensic training experience possible. Please be sure to review the following policies before registering for one our courses.
To ensure that we can accommodate persons with special needs who wish to attend our forensic training courses, please be sure to identify the accommodation needed when you register, or if applicable, at the time you register by phone.
Attendance Policy
Because most of our courses qualify for certification training credit and many courses are approved by the concerned state POST authorities, we maintain minimum standards for attendance on every course. All students are required to attend the courses for which they are registered in their entirety. Exceptions to this requirement can be granted by the course instructors for excusable absences such as those required for court appearances only when the time missed is made up as assigned by said instructor. This might be through the assignment of additional reading, a written assignment, or after class attendance with the instructor. In cases where one or more days are missed, the instructor can grade the absent student as “incomplete.” In these instances, the student will be permitted to attend the missed portion of the course within one calendar year at their expense. No tuition will be charged for these students’ made-up attendance.
Cancellation Policy
We strive to accommodate all students who wish to attend our forensic training courses, but enrollment is limited. Therefore, we request that individuals registered for our forensic training courses who wish to cancel their attendance do so at least ten business days prior to the beginning of the course. No-shows will be invoiced, and in cases where the no-show’s tuition has been paid, it shall not be refunded. Substitutions are welcome at any time prior to the beginning of the course without charge. It is requested that cancellations be emailed to Phil Sanfilippo at [email protected]. Cancellations made less than ten business days prior to the beginning of the course will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee. This fee may be waived in cases of bona fide emergencies.
Cancellations for webinars must be made a minimum of twenty-four hours before the webinar begins. Webinar tuition is non-refundable. At the discretion of the Training Director, students canceling their attendance may receive credit for missed webinars. Invoices issued for webinar attendance will not be cancelled outside of these guidelines.
In the event we must cancel a forensic training course, enrolled students or their agency representatives will be notified at least ten business days prior to the beginning of the course or as soon as practical. We will attempt to make more advanced notification to students enrolled from outside the local area of the course. In the event a webinar must be canceled, registered students will be offered the option of receiving a refund or a credit to attend another webinar or course.
