PART 3:
TECHNICAL EXAMINATION

Instructor: Brian Turner, MFS, CTPE
Course length:  6 hours

The purpose of this review course is to review rules of fingerprint classification in order to prepare the student for the Technical Examination section of the IAI Tenprint Certification Test.  This webinar will be a 6 hour webinar consisting of four hour lecture and two hour practice comparison examination (after class assignment.)  The four-hour lecture includes an online classification exercise.

Students will receive a practice technical examination and answer sheet prior to the start of the webinar for download.  It is highly recommended students print these out prior and do not try and complete the practice examination on the computer.

Students are required to read all required texts for the certification test, but it is highly recommended students read The Science of Fingerprints Textbook prior to the webinar. Time will be given for students to ask questions.

Successful completion will be determined by attendance, final test score, and completion of the after class assignment.

Schedule:
Hours 1 - 4:
Rules of Fingerprint Classification (includes online exercise), Final Exam

Hours 5 - 6:
After-Class Practice Technical Examination
