This course provides a unique take on the traditional root cause analysis, weaving proven inquiry-based investigations with executive decision making into the process to help sort problems for better solutions and what to do in chaotic circumstances. The core of this course was used by the National Commission on Forensic Science as a basis for RCA in forensic science.

Max Houck, Ph.D, FRSC
Holding a Bachelors and Masters degree in anthropology from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry Summa Cum Laude from Curtin University in Perth, Australia, Dr. Max Houck is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

He is an international forensic expert with over 25 years of experience. Houck also has dozens of peer-reviewed journal articles and is the author and editor of numerous books.
